Protesters across 38 cities in the US have called for the end of the Federal Reserve, which they blame for the current economic crisis.
Trey Houchens, an organizer for the group, 'Restore the Republic', was demonstrating in front of the Federal Reserve building in Washington and told PressTV that the Federal Reserve is an institution that has been stealing our prosperity.
Protestors said that if the Federal Reserve continues to spend and regulate credit at the present rate, the American economy will collapse.
Another protestor told PressTV's Jihan Hafiz that Fed chief, Ben Bernanke, held a gun to our head, asking for the bailout anything that he says will make the market go down. Its just outright theft.
Bernanke, along with treasury secretary, Hank Paulson, was the key architect behind the $700 billion bailout bill that was passed in October. Many criticized the controversial bill for handing US taxpayer money back to the same financial institutions that caused the current financial turmoil in the first place.
There were also demands that control of monetary policy be returned to Congress, and not left in the hands of an unelected and 'unconstitutional' private organization.
We have to wrestle that power back from those private bankers, give it back to its rightful owner, the government, the people, said Gary Franchi, National Director of 'Restore the Republic'.
Looking forward, some protestors cast doubt on President-elect Obama's promise of change, pointing out his close connection to 'corporate America.'

A labyrinth filled with stone temples and pyramids in 14 caves—some underwater—have been uncovered on Mexico Yucatán Peninsula, archaeologists announced recently.
The discovery has experts wondering whether Maya legend inspired the construction of the underground complex—or vice versa.
According to Maya myth, the souls of the dead had to follow a dog with night vision on a horrific and watery path and endure myriad challenges before they could rest in the afterlife.
In one of the recently found caves, researchers discovered a nearly 300-foot (90-meter) concrete road that ends at a column standing in front of a body of water.
"We have this pattern now of finding temples close to the water—or under the water, in this most recent case," said Guillermo de Anda, lead investigator at the research sites.
"These were probably made as part of a very elaborate ritual," de Anda told National Geographic News in August. "Everything is related to death, life, and human sacrifice."

Myth and Reality
Archaeologists excavating the temples and pyramids in the village of Tahtzibichen, in Mérida, the capital of Yucatán state, said the oldest item they found was a 1,900-year-old vessel. Other uncovered earthenware and sculptures dated to A.D. 750 to 850.
"There are stones, huge columns, and sculptures of priests in the caves," said de Anda, whose team has been working on the Yucatán Peninsula for six months.
"There are also human remains and ceramics," he said.
Researchers said the ancient legend—described in part in the sacred book Popul Vuh—tells of a tortuous journey through oozing blood, bats, and spiders, that souls had to make in order to reach Xibalba, the underworld.
"Caves are natural portals to other realms, which could have inspired the Mayan myth. They are related to darkness, to fright, and to monsters," de Anda said, adding that this does not contradict the theory that the myth inspired the temples.
William Saturno, a Maya expert at Boston University, believes the maze of temples was built after the story.
"I'm sure the myths came first, and the caves reaffirmed the broad time-and-space myths of the Mayans," he said.
Underworld Entrances
Saturno said the discovery of the temples underwater indicates the significant effort the Maya put into creating these portals.
In addition to plunging deep into the forest to reach the cave openings, Maya builders would have had to hold their breath and dive underwater to build some of the shrines and pyramids.
Other Maya underworld entrances have been discovered in jungles and aboveground caves in northern Guatemala Belize.
"They believed in a reality with many layers," Saturno said of the Maya. "The portal between life and where the dead go was important to them."

From them she received her first knowledge of Christianity, but although she forthwith eagerly accepted it in her heart she did not at that time ask to be baptized. Some time later the Turtle clan moved to the north bank of the Mohawk River, the "castle" being built above what is now the town of Fonda. Here in the midst of scenes of carnage, debauchery, and idolatrous frency Tekakwitha lived a life of remarkable virtue, at heart not only a Christian but a Christian virgin, for she firmly and often, with great risk to herself, resisted all efforts to induce her to marry.
When she was eighteen, Father Jacques de Lamberville arrived to take charge of the mission which included the Turtle clan, and from him, at her earnest request, Tekakwitha received baptism. Thenceforth she practised her religion unflinchingly in the face of almost unbearable opposition, till finally her uncle's lodge ceased to be a place of protection to her and she was assisted by some Christian Indians to escape to Caughnawaga on the St. Laurence. Here she lived in the cabin of Anastasia Tegonhatsihonga, a Christian Indian woman, her extraordinary sanctity impressing not only her own people but the French and the missionaries. Her mortifications were extreme, and Chauchtiere says that she had attained the most perfect union with God in prayer.

American Missionaries and Generals in the American Military are working together in order to convert Helpless Muslims in Iraq to Christianity. Many of these Missionaries which are Supported by the Bush Administration are from Evangelical Christian Groups Such as Southern Baptist Convention, World Help and other Evangelical Christian Organizations. They go into Iraq as aid workers in Disguise or as American Private Contractors working in Iraq. Many of these people have been given support and Protection from American Generals in Iraq by providing them Housings in Americans Bases in Iraq to work from. When ever the American Military goes into a Village or a Town in search and destroy Mission these missionaries follow them and hand out Pamphlets promoting Christianity and also Also Anti-islamic material to the helpless Muslims in Iraq. Many of them follow the American Military as well in their rutine Night raids where the American Soldiers Kills or detains Muslim males from the families, Iraq is a traditional Society and most of the Support a family recieves is from the Male, and once there is no Male gaurdian for the Family the family does not have a chance for survival. Many Muslim Women and families are being taken advantagae of by these American christians, since they provide them with food and Shelter or Money in Exchange for the Bible and Christianity the most Vulnerable of these families are Muslim women with children whos husbands and Sons have been killed or been detained by the Americans. These Muslim families have no other place to provide for themselves it's either the missionaries and there is always a Danger for Prostitution for survival. Unfortantetly Islamic aid Organizations are not allowed to work from Iraq since they would be labled as Terrorists and Killed, or detained by the American Military. Many of these Islamic Aid Organization have completely abonded their work in Iraq. Those few Islamic Aid Organizations who do risk the work to provide aid for their Brothers and Sisters in Iraq are being highly Monitored by the American Military and the Puppet Iraqi Government.

Brown: Use This Crisis To Create New Financial World Order
British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has called for a new Bretton Woods system, saying that the financial crisis should be used to make world leaders agree to fresh rules and regulations under a long planned new global financial order.
"Sometimes it takes a crisis for people to agree that what is obvious and should have been done years ago, can no longer be postponed," Brown told an audience earlier today.
Speaking at Thomson Reuters' editorial headquarters, Brown called for "a new financial architecture for the global age", stating that the Bretton Woods system devised after the second world war was out of touch with the new world order.
Brown said: "This crisis demonstrates beyond doubt that a global capital market requires much stronger global cooperation and supervision. And we need to ensure that we have an effective global early warning system to alert us across continents to economic and financial risk."
Brown contended that the current financial system is "too clouded with opacity, conflicts of interest, irresponsible risk-taking, and when problems occur countries have tended to look inwards and deal with them in isolation when it is clear they should look outwards and join in international co-operation."
"We are proposing a world leaders' meeting in which we must agree the principles and policies for restructuring the financial system across the globe," Brown added.
His speech came after the UK government announced it would bail out three high street banks - RBS, HBOS and Lloyds TSB - to the tune of £37bn. Since that announcement, shares in the banks have plunged on the stock market.
Brown's call echoes that of elite figures such as CFR member Jeffrey Garten and Timothy Geithner, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, who have both recently called for a "new global monetary authority", a de-facto global financial dictatorship, operating across borders and forcing nations and corporations to register and adhere to strict monitoring and regulations.
The call is also similar to plans recently touted for a new centralized system of financial supervision across the EU providing greater regulatory powers.'

Hip-Hop Infiltrated By Freemasons
am just barely old enough to remember when the whole commercial hip-hop genre was in its embryonic stages, with the likes of the Sugar Hill Gang and the Gary Byrd Experience. Back then in the late 70's and early 80's, most rap and hip-hop tracks had a happy-go-lucky vibe, with lyrics that talked about such things as who was the best MC or DJ. There were some more serious rappers, like Grandmaster Flash, who rapped about life in the ghetto. But even then, the songs had an overall positive vibe and the lyrics, although sometimes a bit deep and serious, usually tried to positively educate the young listener by speaking to them on their level and using terms that they can relate to. It was when we reached the mid 80's that hip-hop really started to evolve and many sub-genres started to develop. There were artists like Rob Base, Ice-T, Public Enemy, Run DMC, The Beastie Boys, Ton-Loc, and countless others.
Whatever you thought about any of these artists, hip-hop had a sense of honesty and integrity about it. For the most part, it appears that the genre sprang out of the grassroots. A lot of rap artists had actually lived the kind of life they rapped about. To some extent or other, many of them had already gained first-hand experience of the guns, drugs, racism, gang warfare, and the general despair of living life in the ghetto. For example, many of these issues were covered in a song called Colors, by Ice-T. In this song, Ice-T plays a character who lives this kind of life. Ice-T admits that he didn't personally live that kind of life but the character is based on the kind of person who does. Then a couple of years later, a rap outfit called NWA started rapping about the same issues in their debut album, Straight Outta Compton. And although the music was very good, they gave the misleading impression that they were actually living lives as gangsters in the ghetto. But in reality these guys were living millionaire lifestyles in the lap of luxury. I personally found this to be somewhat hypocritical and it was at this point that I realised that hip-hop had been taken over by the marketing gurus, who weren't just selling a lie, they were selling it to kids under the pretence that artists like "Vanilla Ice" had actually tasted life in the ghetto - yeah right!
Now hip-hop has reached the stage where it is being used to predictively program the minds of today's youth. In addition, many of today's top hip-hop artists are clearly involved to some degree in secret fraternal orders. They even have the audacity to flash masonic symbols all over the place. To me, this is an insult to the people who buy their music, and it shows that freemasonry has infiltrated just about every part of society, right down to the grassroots levels. I mean, if you can't even buy an album from your favorite rap artist without being predictively programmed and bombarded with masonic symbols and terms, what is the world coming to?
